A talented American Painter known for her impressionism oil paintings on canvas

Jane Bradford (1923-2012) was a talented American Painter known for her impressionism oil paintings on canvas. Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1923, she graduated from Mills College of Oakland, California. After marrying Painter Howard Bradford in 1970, they moved to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Jane was a resident of Carmel for over 41 years. While at Mills College, Jane studied art with William Gaw. She also studied with Phil Dike, Millard Sheets, and Phil Paradise. Jane was a prolific painter whose painting have been shown in exhibitions through out the United States and Ireland. Jane passed away in her Carmel home in August 2012.
